Søndergård, Mozart and Prokofiev
More details
Violinist Stefan Jackiw draws his life motto from the myth of Sisyphus: “There is scarcely any passion without struggle.” It’s a reminder that just because he can make it sound effortless to play the violin, that doesn’t mean it is. Jackiw’s interpretation of Mozart will set you up beautifully for the tension and power of Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 6.
