Keefe, Shostakovich and Ravel
More details
The role of concertmaster requires many non-musical skills: leadership, diplomacy and confidence are just three that come to mind. For 16 years, Erin Keefe has demonstrated all the above. Hearing her tackle the demands of Shostakovich’s First Violin Concerto will remind you that she’s an extraordinary soloist, too. Then, prepare to surrender to one of the most brilliant depictions of daybreak ever composed in Ravel’s ballet Daphnis and Chloé.
