Deep below the lush canopies of El Yunque National Forest, Sofía is on a journey to discover the vibrant rhythms of Bomba, one of Puerto Rico’s oldest musical traditions! You’re invited to follow along with Semilla Cultural’s dancers as Sofía learns about island nature, animals, and Puerto Rican traditions. With call-and-response songs and the driving rhythms of maracas and cuás, this performance melds storytelling, dance, and live music!
