A choral masterpiece celebrating light, hope, and new beginnings, Haydn’s oratorio The Creation was the first piece Franz Welser-Möst conducted in his inaugural season as Music Director of The Cleveland Orchestra. Bookending his historic tenure, this performance spotlights Welser-Möst’s collaboration with The Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, featuring guest soloists Joélle Harvey, Kai Kluge, and Ludwig Mittelhammer.
