Verdi’s Requiem
More details
Islington Choral Society present one of the great choral masterpieces of all time – Verdi’s Requiem. Whatever your beliefs, prepare to be moved by this compelling work. From exquisite tender moments to the terrifying Dies Irae, it’s no wonder many believe this is the greatest opera that Verdi never wrote. The work is the composer’s personal and passionate statement of grief from a not particularly devout man.
