The protagonist of today's conversation is composer and conductor Beat Furrer. Through a performance of his 1985 Trio for Flute, Oboe, and Clarinet, an early work of extraordinary depth and formal rigor, performed by mdi ensemble musicians Sonia Formenti, Alessia Vermi, and Paolo Casiraghi, we will discover with the Swiss-German maestro the roots and inspirations of his compositional thinking at the beginning of his extraordinary artistic output.
