Schola Cantorum Leipzig

Leipzig Diakonie

The Hausmusikabende of the Schola Cantorum Leipzig have, since 2013, continued the tradition of communal singing and music-making in family and friends' circles of the Biedermeier period of the 19th century. Set in the historic ambiance of the Mendelssohn House in Leipzig, they offer members of the choirs, parents, music educators and guests a platform twice a year to publicly perform, in various ensembles, what has been practiced and learned in voice training, singing or instrumental lessons.
