Wolf Trap fans know Joe Sumner well as he regularly warms up the Filene Center crowd for his dad, Sting. With a distinct voice and an eclectic blend of rock and pop, Sumner has forged his own musical path. Sumner comes to The Barns in support of his debut solo album Sunshine in the Night, which Variety cheered as “a humdinger loaded with chamber pop ditties and swirling, synth-y power-ballads.”
