Latin Passions

Passions run high in our third Masterworks. Music from, and about, Spain frame a virtuoso tango-inflected violin concerto from Argentina. We open with excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen— including the indelible Seguedille and Toréadors. Though French, Bizet brilliantly captures the swagger and ardor of the Iberian spirit.
