On this program, experience how jazz intercepts with classical alongside two revolutionaries to the American musical landscape. An American enters an exciting yet unfamiliar European scene, as Gershwin leaves the listener smelling buttery croissants and seeing the twinkling of the Eiffel Tower. Additionally, violinist Nicola Benedetti showcases Wynton Marsalis’ concerto that won her a GRAMMY® in this classical ode to jazz.
