Even though Bach and Telemann lived at the same time, wrote in similar genres, and knew each other – they were born in the same year and their paths crossed many times – their musical styles differ. Explore this contrast in a program that highlights why both composers remain impressive today, led by harpsichordist Steven Devine, best known for playing with the critically-acclaimed Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
