When the young Berlioz set his love life to music he didn’t hold back, and his explosive Symphonie Fantastique can still set your head spinning. It’s a roof-raising climax to a concert that begins with a musical tour of modern Wales – from John Hardy’s atmospheric landscapes to a spirited concerto by the one and only Sir Karl Jenkins.
