Led by Franz Welser-Möst, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Artis—Naples for a pair of momentous performances in Hayes Hall. This first program includes works by Hindemith, Strauss, Schönberg and Ravel. The second program features Mahler’s colossal Ninth Symphony, the final — and arguably the most significant — completed symphony of the composer’s career.
