Six award-winning young musicians perform three works that showcase diverse musical styles, from humorous formality of Ernest von Dohnányi from early 20th century central Europe, to exotic sounds of Hindustani ragas composed by Los Angeles-based composer Reena Esmail and written as a wedding gift to her best friends in 2017, and ending with exuberant virtuosity of Robert Schumann from 19th century Germany.
