Music for a piano trio, consisting of violin, cello and piano, has been one of the staples of chamber music since Haydn. The programme includes Haydn’s and Brahm’s well known trios as well as a piece by Turina. This composer combines Romantic abundance and Impressionist sounds with Spanish folklore.
