The cello, long confined to the bass, rises to imitate the violin and reveal all its virtuosity. Exploring previously unpublished works by composers such as Giulio Ruvo, Giorgio Antoniotto, and Vivaldi, this concert tells the fascinating story of the instrument and its popular origins, sometimes meditative, sometimes exuberant. In Pēteris Vasks's Musica serena , the strings engage in an intimate meditation and dialogue as if they were a single, perfectly coordinated instrument, reacting to the conductor's every move. In the Sinfonia concertante , a new creation by the Franco-Argentine composer Strasnoy, Alexandre Tharaud and Jean-Guihen Queyras invent a bold play of mirrors, sometimes fused thanks to unsettling unisons, sometimes rivalry through rhythmic jousts. In the midst of this conversation on the border between concerto and symphony, the orchestra intrudes and establishes itself as a third partner, reacting to each of their phrasings. Finally, Dvořák's Symphony No. 5 reveals its Czech roots, from the folk dances of the scherzo to the incredible rhythmic energy of the finale. Poga and the orchestra will highlight its warm colors and spring-like vitality.

Bachir lives on Rue Broca in Paris. What he wants more than anything is a bicycle. But his father, Saïd the grocer, can't give him one yet... Fortunately, Bachir has a powerful ally: Scooby-Doo, his magic doll, who—blindfolded!—sees more clearly than everyone else. Scooby-Doo embarks on a fabulous world tour in search of the perfect bicycle: a tiny bicycle, made of camel hair, with two wheels, made of owl hair, and a bell, made of shrimp hair... A quest full of humor, friendship, and surprises! Carried by the fresh voices of the Petite Troupe d'Opéra Junior, this miniature opera by Jean-Michel Damase is a gem of tenderness and inventiveness.
