Steinway International Piano Series: Anna Geniushene
More details
“A restlessness, a searching quality, an unwillingness to let beauty simply sit still” – that’s how Anna Geniushene describes this passionate recital. Naturally, in this anniversary year, there’s Beethoven – and for Geniushene, the Eroica Variations show him “at his most stubborn and magnificent”. But miniature masterpieces from Brahms, Bartók, Chopin and Liszt complete this portrait of one of our most imaginative living pianists.
