Alisa Weilerstein performs Prokofiev’s Sinfonia concertante, one of the most virtuosic works in the cello repertoire. Nathalie Stutzmann makes her NY Phil conducting debut with Dvořák’s New World Symphony — premiered by the New York Philharmonic in 1893 — and Wagner’s sensuous Tannhäuser Overture.
