Novelist Charles Condomine gets more than he bargained for when he enlists an eccentric medium to help with his writer’s block. She accidently summons the ghost of his first wife, really upsetting his current wife, who is then accidentally killed. The two women join forces to haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity.
