Kronos Quartet, the renowned, ever-evolving, musically expansive string quartet, celebrates fifty years of innovation with KRONOS Five Decades, featuring David Harrington (violin), John Sherba (violin), Hank Dutt (viola) and Paul Wiancko (cello). Comprised of four virtuosic musicians, composers, and educators — Lara Klaus, Daniela Serna, Mafer Bandola and Sara Lucas — LADAMA are sisters in song and spirit. Harnessing music from their respective countries of origin–Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and the United States–the group utilizes traditional and non-traditional instruments from across the Americas to create a rich Latin Alternative music, which bends folkloric forms with a modern twist.
