Sir András Schiff, Haydn, and Mozart

The New York Philharmonic writes:

Artist-in-Residence Sir András Schiff brings his expertise and impeccable technique to piano concertos by Haydn and Mozart, both conducted from the piano. He also leads the Orchestra in two favorites of the repertoire: Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, a work of disarming lyricism, and Mozart’s Overture to Don Giovanni, with diabolical opening chords that foreshadow the title character’s doom.
