The evening opens with Gabriela Ortiz's "Kauyumari," a piece inspired by an ancient rite from Mexico, which begins with a delicate whisper and crescendos into a vibrant, joyous dance. Following this, the audience will be treated to Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 17, a work that showcases Mozart at his most radiant.
