"Goodnight Moon" is a delightful exploration of nighttime rituals, capturing the essence of preparing for bed with its soothing narrative and charming imagery. "The Runaway Bunny" tells a whimsical tale of a little bunny's imaginary journey away from home, only to find comfort in his mother's loving reassurances. Together, these stories weave a tapestry of comfort, security, and love, featuring endearing rabbit characters and the gentle rhythms of bunny dialogue. This staged adaptation by Mermaid Theatre brings a fresh appreciation to stories that have enchanted generations, making it an ideal outing for young audiences.

This performance is recommended for grades PreK-3 and has a running time of 60 minutes. To ensure accessibility, the 10:00 a.m. performance on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, will feature sign language interpreters. Attendees requiring this service are encouraged to note this on their order form for appropriate seating arrangements.

Ticket prices are set at $7.00-$12.00, with special rates for groups. Groups of 10 or more can avail tickets at $7 per ticket, with one complimentary ticket for every 20 purchased. Larry & Joe is the duo of joropo maestro Larry Bellorín (Monagas, Venezuela) and Grammy-nominated bluegrass and old-time star Joe Troop (Winston-Salem, North Carolina). These two virtuosic multi-instrumentalists fuse their respective Venezuelan and Appalachian folk traditions on the harp, banjo, cuatro, fiddle, upright bass, guitar, and maracas to prove that music has no borders. Their engaging bilingual (Spanish/English) program includes storytelling, humor, sing-alongs, and dancing.
