Thirteen actors are on stage in this critically acclaimed drama staged as a full-day performance.

New drama. New generations.

In Manhattan, a generation after the height of the AIDS epidemic, Eric, a sensitive soul, and a talented yet self-destructive writer, Toby, share a turbulent love affair that tears everyone around them apart. While the United States, where Trump wins the presidency, is becoming more and more polarised, the world around them seems to be collapsing.

Their lives are linked to several other fates, which has dire consequences for them all. Some are haunted by the past, while others are hungry for a future.

The Inheritance is the story of three generations of gay men searching for the legacy that binds us together as human beings and lovers. It is a tale of the generation that followed those affected by the AIDS epidemic.

Josephine Park stars as Yerma in a gripping drama about a modern woman’s all-consuming desire for a child—and the lengths she will go to in pursuit of her dream.

What do you do when you have every opportunity in life, yet your greatest wish remains unfulfilled?

Yerma is a successful city woman in full control of her life. She has never considered having children—until the day she moves into her new townhouse. Suddenly, the desire arises: there is plenty of space, after all. She persuades her partner, and together they try for years to conceive.

As their efforts prove unsuccessful, she restructures their work and private lives around her ovulation cycles. She shares intimate details of their struggle with infertility and family pressures on social media, while her partner gradually loses interest in fertility treatments—and in their relationship. Once, she had never defined her body by its biological function. Now, the deep longing for motherhood consumes her entirely, turning into an obsession.

Karl-Aage’s life begins and ends with Regitze. Who is he without her? Experience Olaf Johannessen and Maria Rossing in an intimate production about love and grief.

'It would be a beautiful evening. One of those rare, still, warm summer nights, where everything seems to pause and hold its breath for a moment. Regitze could not have chosen a better evening for her party.'

Karl-Aage has been married to Regitze for over 40 years. Now, as she faces an incurable illness, they prepare for what will be their final gathering at their allotment garden. As he reflects on a lifetime with the fearless, strong-willed, and life-affirming Regitze, his own story unfolds—one in which he has always been the passive, hesitant, and reserved one.

Memories of a Marriage

Experience Nicolas Bro as Uncle Vanya in Chekhov’s classic, reimagined in contemporary rural Denmark—where change is hard to accept.

'Life in the countryside is wonderful,' or so they say—but not for Sonja and her Uncle Vanya. For 25 years, they have worked tirelessly to keep the family farm afloat, in part to support Sonja’s father, a professor living in the city. Now, having retired and fallen on hard times, he has moved to the farm with his much younger wife, Jelena—whose beauty proves a dangerous distraction for both Vanya and the doctor, Astrov.

The ex-soldier Woyzeck loves his wife Marie. Trapped in a system that exploits him, he struggles every day to support his family and make his life work. To earn money, he participates in medical experiments where he is only allowed to eat peas. Hunger, humiliation and powerlessness etch their way into his mind. Reality begins to crumble, and the war he knows from his service invades his thoughts. Jealousy grows and turns into an obsession that leads him towards a fateful deroute.

Experience Iben Hjejle and Alexander Bryld Obaze in the theatrical adaptation of Katrine Marie Guldager’s sharp-witted and critically acclaimed novel.

Lotte has been abandoned by the love of her life, Michael, and, to make matters worse, has also been dismissed from her job as a social worker. Then, out of the blue, Michael’s grown-up son, Daniel, calls—he has been unable to reach his father. Together, they discover Michael dead in his flat.

Another Day in God's Creation

A brand new comedy by bestselling author Thomas Korsgaard—on friendship, new beginnings, loneliness, and finding your place as a single person in a world of couples.

Morning traffic is in chaos. A giant pepper mill, made from oil drums, is blocking Frederikssundsvej, one of Copenhagen’s main arteries. Florist Tobias is convinced it must be for him—it is, after all, his 30th birthday today, and in Denmark, a giant pepper mill is a traditional gift for those who reach that age unmarried. But neither his employer nor any of his three closest friends have arranged for a pepper mill in his honour. In fact, they had almost forgotten his birthday altogether. Because friends grow up
