Hot Tonic Orchestra, described as “Postmodern Jukebox meets Amy Winehouse,” fuses jazz with Latin rhythms, funk and soul, tied together by original arrangements. This large band returns to the Side Door to celebrate the music of Burt Bacharach and lyricist, Hal David. Special guests for the evening include vocalist Bryan Hughes and trumpeter James Suggs. Co-led by vocalist/bassist Victoria Woods and guitarist Josh Hindmarsh, Hot Tonic mixes horns and a dynamic rhythm section and has performed throughout the USA and in Australia and New Zealand.

Palladium favorites Bryan Hughes and The Crew are coming to the Side Door to celebrate the release of their new album. The Crew is an all-star band that features Bryan Hughes, on vocals, James Suggs, trumpet, Alejandro Arenas, bass, John O’Leary, piano, and John Bolduc, drums. A night with Bryan and The Crew will feature jazz, pop, and American Songbook hits. The album was recorded at Yamaha Recording Studios in Nashville earlier this year.

To commemorate the upcoming Woman’s History Month in March, join us for a special evening of music comprised entirely of works by female composers. Featuring violist Molly Carr, the newest member of the acclaimed Juilliard String Quartet, and Bulgarian educator and pianist Anna Petrova, “HERS” vibrantly celebrates the vision, strength, resilience, and vital contributions of the female sex throughout history. Through music and storytelling, the Carr-Petrova Duo will lead the audience through the inspirations, battles, and incredible accomplishments of eight fearless women – from the 12th century’s Hildegard Von Bingen to today’s Beyoncé – and share centuries of heartbreak, struggles, and triumphs that comprise the female experience.
