We're excited to announce that our Christmas show for 2024 will be a MAC twist on the much loved fairytale, The Adventures of Red Riding Hood.

Join us on an action-packed, fun-filled journey through our fairytale planet with feisty heroine, Red Riding Hood. But in a race to visit Granny Hood with a festive hamper of goodies, could it be a case of mistaken identity for media star Red Riding Hood, the jealous Goldilocks, or the Big (or not so) Bad Wolf?

This home grown Belfast Neo-Victoriana Cabaret (Think the good ol’ days meets the young ones with a splash of the Muppet show) was first dreamt up and performed in Belfast in 2005 to sell out audiences & 5 star reviews, and it still sells out every year since. P&P’s has travelled to many different venues from the opulence of the Spiegel Tent to the grand reopening of the Ulster Hall. Founded and run by motley band of local belfast born circus artists, carny clowns, anarchist actors & award winning comedians. Each show is unique as a crack team of circus and cabaret artists are selected and curated specifically to create the best cabaret extravaganza experience this side of 1920’s Berlin!

Part of our MACtivate programme, in association with The Rainbow Project, our fortnightly Queer Set Dancing class with Alexa Moore is specifically beginner-friendly.

Join Alexa and the group from 6.30pm-8.30pm for a fun class with no expectation of any prior dancing experience. The class is run by a queer woman and we aim to create a welcoming and friendly environment for LGBTQ+ people and allies to learn a new dance, have some fun, and meet new people. Come along when you can - you don't need to have joined from the first date to attend. All welcome.

Coming to The SSE Arena, Belfast on Saturday 21 December, Kneecap is a hip hop band from Belfast, performing under the stage names Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí. The trio released their first album in 2018, and have continued to produce various singles ever since. In early 2023, the group began producing a film based on a fictionalised version of their lives, also titled ‘Kneecap’, which is set to be directed by Rich Peppiatt, with Michael Fassbender in a supporting role.

In 2022, he stood in as lead singer of Two Door Cinema Club on their South American festival run. He was invited to Washington D.C. in 2023 to perform at the capital's St Patrick's Day Gala Concert, alongside James Vincent McMorrow, SOAK and Tolü Makay.
