Her dedication to teaching and passion for music shines through in every session, making Piano Fusion a truly inspiring gathering for all involved.

The Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra was founded in 2023 to provide highly skilled musicians the opportunity to perform high-caliber live concert events that uplift, inspire, and culturally enrich its members and the community.  

The nonprofit organization was founded on the values of musical excellence, kindness, and respect. Its musicians live in the community and come from all walks of life—professionally trained musicians, business owners, military officers, teachers, doctors, engineers, homemakers, and even pilots—yet they all share the same love of music that has brought us all here today.

If Skaggs’s burgeoning trophy case full of awards wasn’t already enough evidence of that fact, consider that legendary guitarist Chet Atkins once credited Skaggs with “single-handedly saving country music.” His life’s path has taken him to various musical genres, from where it all began in bluegrass music, to striking out on new musical journeys, while still leaving his musical roots intact.

By now, if you know the ‘ukulele, you might know the name—the innovator who is Jake Shimabukuro. He has captivated audiences around the world with his unique and dynamic style. With his mother as his first teacher of the instrument, Shimabukuro embraced a deep love and respect for the `ukulele and has explored new and unexpected ways to push the boundaries of what was possible on the humble four-strings. Each album has showcased his mastery of the instrument and his ability to weave together diverse genres to create a cohesive and captivating musical experience. He is undoubtedly one of the most innovative and exciting musicians of his generation, changing the perception of the instrument itself and breaking barriers of what kind of music the ‘ukulele is capable of. In addition to his impeccable musicianship, Shimabukuro is also a gifted storyteller, weaving together musical narratives that draw listeners in and leave them spellbound.

Under the baton of guest conductor Patrick Dupré Quigley, this beloved holiday tradition comes to life, featuring the talents of soprano Kathryn Mueller, mezzo-soprano Stephanie Sanchez, tenor Joshua Blue, and baritone Joshua Conyers, alongside the Phoenix Symphony Chorus led by chorus master Thomas Bookhout.

George Frederic Handel's Messiah is celebrated as the most famous oratorio ever written, captivating audiences year after year with its powerful solo arias, including "I Know That My Redeemer Liveth" and "The Trumpet Shall Sound," as well as popular choruses like "For Unto Us A Child Is Born" and the resounding "Hallelujah" chorus. This full oratorio performance promises an inspiring blend of divine music and holiday spirit.

Reuniting the original stars from Broadway’s smash hit Jersey Boys, The Midtown Men will ring in the Christmas season with Holiday Hits & More. This evening of songs and stories features iconic Yuletide classics such as “Winter Wonderland,” “Let It Snow,” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” as well as signature renditions of the greatest rock and roll hits of the 1960s. The popular vocal group will treat audiences to the songs of The Beatles, The Temptations, The Four Seasons, and more! Come celebrate “the most wonderful time of the year’ ‘in this spectacular Broadway-style celebration!
